That said, there are low cost alternatives to almost everything, like vacation rentals and budget hotels, street food markets and budget-friendly restaurants, etc.

Depending on the time of year, costs of Seoul or rather South Korea holiday packages to be exact, vary. A 6-day stay at a budget hotel in Seoul for example could cost about INR80,000, and the same at a luxury 5-star hotel is approximately INR 1,25,000.

Yes, Indian nationals do need a valid visa to enter Seoul, and thankfully, a 90-day tourist visa is easy to obtain. The hassle free process involves the payment of a visa fee and applications need to be made in advance at the local Korean embassy.
